Oh, the heartache of losing my go-to Thai place inside H Mart! I became a total Yelp-stalker, praying for a glimmer of hope for an update. Lo and behold, Thai 54 rose like a phoenix from the ashes, and let me tell you, it's a authentic Thai place! Don't believe those ancient reviews, this place is a pure gem!

Their crab fried rice is pure happiness on a plate, and their papaya salad is like a flavor explosion in my mouth (I switch between Thai and Laos versions, depending on my mood - keeping life spicy, you know!). My husband's all about their drunken noodles, but he can't resist sneaking bites of my fried rice.

I wanted to gate-keep, but I can't help rooting for Thai 54 to shine in their new spot. They're the champion of authentic Thai food in the area! But hey, if you're into ketchup-infused pad Thai, there are plenty of other spots around.

One thing to note: when they say medium spicy, they're not playing games. It's Thai-level medium spicy, so buckle up for a wild ride or order accordingly

In a nutshell: If you crave top-notch Thai cuisine that'll knock your socks off, Thai 54 is where it's at. Get ready for a flavor explosion like no other.

At Thai 54, we are specializes in signature dishes that you would fine in many street side food shops in Thailand.

Thai 54, Chef Jay has gained his experience from NYC under the supervision of the Executive Chef and Chef De Cuisine as a Sous Chef for 5 years at Purethai Cookhouse, and most recent as Executive chef at Thai Khun Nine at H Mart in Cary.
